At Turners we are always looking for fun ways in which we can support the local community and so we thought it was a cracking idea to run a competition for the children of Park Community School to decorate eggs for our Easter Window display!

Working with Tom Livingston, early year’s leader of Park Community School, our marketing manager Dickie Wilkinson presented the design brief and a host of fun ideas to the children during an assembly. Needless to say the children were egg-static.

In return for the children’s wonderful efforts Turners donated £300 to Park Community School. The school is a brand new primary school for Morden’s youngsters and opens on its permanent Dorset Road site in September.

With lots of lovely colourful entries, deciding on a winner was egg-stremely difficult and many of the entries were also clearly inspired by those loveable rouges the Minions. But with three trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize and certificates for everyone who took part, as well as a cheque for the school we reckon everyone was a winner

The entries went on display over Easter with Dickie adding the finishing touches to a fun, egg-citing window display wishing all of our customers and Morden residents a Happy Easter!
